A creative new dining concept calls for an equally engaging campaign and we were not about to let the opportunity slip. Anchored on the fusion concept of “xiao long bao” that comes in eight different flavours (and colours!), we created a visual that uses the “long” to create the number ‘8’. The visual was subsequently applied to the ads, pillar wraps, out-of-home advertising and a 30 second television commercial with our partner, Vividthree. The weekend crowd at Orchard also had an opportunity to ‘travel back in time to Qing Dynasty where 8 beauties distributed fans and took pictures with them for a social media campaign. All these hard work resulted in a significant 30% jump in restaurant patronage for our clients so we’ll say it’s all worth it!
